PS4 CE-30005-8 Error

79wjd

I picked up Spiderman and started encountering this error whenever I turn my PS4 on and try to play it -- it seems to go away when I restart my PS4. I also don't recall having this issue the last time I played HZD. When the game is trying to launch it sounds like the ODD is spinning up and then stopping, then spinning up again, repeating until the error eventually is displayed on the screen. The disc is brand new and I don't see any scratches on it.

I've read a few things about restoring the PS4 OS, but I'd really rather not do that if it won't help. From what I can tell, this seems to be caused by a disc issue, ODD issue, or an HDD issue. But the fact that restarting seems to fix it makes me think it's probably an OS issue.

Testing with HZD (or a different game) isn't the most fool proof given that it doesn't always seem to happen.
