No internet after windows update....

So I came back from dinner to see that Windows needed to update. A couple minutes later, it finished updating. Then, I could't connect to the internet via my computer. My phone was working fine. Anyone experienced the same trouble?

I have before, PC must have uninstalled the wireless driver. You are not Hardwired on your internet correct?

Sadly, I am hardwired on my internet. My motherboard doesn't come with Wifi

You might just need to download the network driver and install it separately. Which motherboard do you have?

I have a brand new ASUS B450-F motherboard

I assume thats the Strix one? Strange, it looks like it is just a normal Intel NIC which I would have thought Windows should have picked up automatically. You can try downloading the latest driver for it below and see if that gets it working.

I've tried those but I already figured out a solution. Maybe my OS was somehow hacked or corrupted. As such, I wiped my boot drive, took a hard disk from an old laptop and now its my boot drive. But now I face another problem. Somehow, my hard disk has combined its storage with my old boot drive. I planned on transferring all of windows files onto my old boot drive (a 120 GB WD Green SSD) but now my SSD and my boot drive are in the same partition.
