A few days ago my 980ti decided to die and I am looking for a GPU replacement 

I play my games  @ 1080p resolution at 60 hz   Medium / High on graphics presets 

 

I have a budget of around £400 which narrows my choice to 

RTX 2060   £320-£360

GTX 1660ti  =£300

 

Feedback would be appreciated

For 400, you have a lot of options.

But for 1080p 60fps is overbudget, 1660 can get this easily.

A 2060 will deliver 1440p at 60fps and 1080p in 100+ ultra.

Any desire to move up to 1080p and higher refresh rates?  Or possibly 1440p?

I would get the 1660ti then save up for a 120-144 hz display

Or if you are okay waiting a few weeks (7/7) you can snap up a new Navi card.

 

they have a 2060 equivalent/better for your budget coming out and it has 8GB of vram instead of the 6 of the 2060
