W10, saving "sort by date".

Anyone know a fix for this? After selecting 'by date', sorts by date. Next time opening up explorer, goes right back to default. Over and over...

I though it was ctrl-X (close) to save setting, it does for a couple of times, then right back to default.

_{i dont know what "group by" is and never used that before. "sort by" is just beside it, ive always used that and it stays that way always. forget about "group by" and just use the "sort by"?}

Ahhhh man. You are right, it was a habbit going to the group by there for not looking for the sort by lol
