I bought a xfx rs rx 480 2 months ago and the card got a bios switch on the side, so i got both normal bios and a flashed rx580 bios on the other (previous owner flashed it not me). And even if ive turned of my system, unplugged the power cord, hold in the power button and switched the bios switch, it still says its an rx480. With gpu-z it says the exact same things with both bios. So im wondering if the previous owner didnt acutally flash the rx580 bios onto it, but im pretty certain he did, as when i first got it it had the rx580 flash instead of the rx480 so he had to help me get it back to normal, since the drivers for the rx480 i tried to install "are the wrong amd grapichs drivers for this card", OR, because of something else, is this normal? AMD settings doesnt seem to work now either, and i get the message "no amd grapichs driver is installed...", with both the rx580 flash and the NORMAL rx480 non-flashed. I get it if it would only say that with the rx580, but also with the normal rx480? why? its the exact drivers i previously had?.

IN SHORT:

1. why does it say rx480 on both bios?

2. Is it still a rx580 even if it says rx480?

3. If it is a rx580, where can i find drivers for it? since my old dont work.

So your saying i need to flash it? i didnt ask about that, explain. I wondered why it still said rx480 even if  i switched to rx580 bios, and where i could find drivers for the rx580.

which one? the flashed rx580 model or non-flashed rx 480 model? I dont know what model the flashed 580 is. Are there anyway to see it?

EDIT: i can possibly ask the previous owner if he remembers what kind of rx580 bios he flashed onto it.

EDIT 2: i looked on that link u sent me and the only thing i can find is the BIOS not any Drivers. And its the drivers im looking for.

It seems like on both sides of the bios switch is a normal rx480 bios. Are there anyway a flashed rx580 bios can dissapear? AMD settings before said that it had the wrong drivers, but now i can open it fine with both sides, and it always says rx480 in the device manager. How?
