Can't update bios

Motherboard: H67MA-e45 (B3), I cant update it, when i try this mflash thing it just say it cant find the file on the usb then i try dos and sometimes it works saying bios updated and it reboots but still same old version and sometimes it cant find the file on the usb.

What happens when you execute the "autorun" file with the usb icon?

 

I own a motherboard that will only update the bios if you use their bios updating utility in windows, despite there being an option in the bios to update it with a file. I went through the same thing.

Im scared of updating the bios through windows since Ive heard bad things about bricking etc

Does your bios need to be updated? If not and everything is working fine I'd just leave it alone.

Yeah I tried with using rufus and format it with the option FreeDos

I used the same options when I updated bios on an other pc like yesterday and it worked
