Hello, I am making an office pc for my mother. She does Ebay, uses multiple chrome windows, ebay, youtube, mail, and other everyday office stuff. I have a budget of 500 and I was wondering if you guys had any tips on the build. The goal is to make it fast and future proof. One specific question I have is if I should take out the 710 for a 1030 or should I rely on the AMD integrated graphics?

I would rely on iGPU and put the money towards more ram for multiple chrome tabs.

Don't need the 710 with the 2200G.

 

Or go with the 1600 if you really want to use the 710.  Microcenter, if you have one near you.

A GT 710 is worse than any integrated graphics, and just a horrible value overall. Never ever buy one.

For this, would just recommend to get a ryzen 3 2200g and 16GB of RAM. Get at least a 250GB SSD and call it a day.

Dual cores for basic office tasks are more than enough, and you'll have plenty of ram and fast storage in this.

It's not worth it because for $30 more you can add more GHz, more ram speed, and better graphics. Plus the benchmarks are better, get the Ryzen 3 2200g

The 2200G is better but not in a way that matters. Keep in mind, this is a non-gaming PC, so the extra performance does not manifest itself.

Hard drive and no SSD, all the extra speed from the 2200g goes to waste if the operating system is sluggish
