Sata devices not being detected

I have an msi 760gm-p34 fx with a fx 4300 and 8gb of ddr3 for an office computer i was swapping cases and when i go to boot it up and no boot device. I go to bios and no drives. I have tried multiple drives cables power supplys it was just working ealier today. I have taken the mobo out with just the bare minimum things connected i have reset the bios settings removed the cmos battery still nothing. What's going on

Normal HDD I assume?

 

Can you hear it spinning up? Does it make clicking sounds?

I have tryed multiple drives it's an ssd that i need workin the most. A dvd drive doesn't work either the hdd does spin
