Built a new pc, motherboard gives me AE code and I can’t install an os I’m just stuck here

That just means your selected device to install from isn't working properly. AE code is normal.

No I have a windows media creation tool usb stick

I just switched to a brand new Samsung 970 evo plus from my adata 500gb ssd that was giving me the same issue

Use that to create an bootable USB stick (the tool does that for you) follow the steps and plug it into your pc

Could you elaborate? This is my second pc and for my first one I simply stuck the usb stick in when it gave me this screen

I don't follow you quite. Did it gave that screen after you plugged the usb in your first pc?

Sorry for the confusion. Just sold my first pc, I built my second pc and am now trying to install windows on it. When I built my first pc I simply plugged in the usb stick with the media creation tool on it into the USB port and it booted windows. This time however it is not doing that.

maybe the stick doesn't contain windows anymore. Could you check and make sure it looks like this

The usb stick looks like this. And I think I might have been dumb and not have actually double clicked the tool to set up windows

no problem. I am happy to help. you may want to need to move tool to the internal drive of the pc. Because the usb must be formatted before it can be used. the tool also does this automatically

Thank you it all worked an I’m an currently re-downloading half a terabyte of games and software, all I have left is to overclock
