Deciding on what motherboard combonation i should choose

Hey LTT members,

 

 

I am currently deciding on what motherboard i should choose

My first choice was the x470 Strix, but its competitor the Gigabyte version which is 50 euro less expensive. but at what cost.

 

i have red that the strix version can overclock further with RAM but gigabyte version already supports 3200mhz

I do want to overclock the CPU and RAM so which option should i choose? Keep in mind that the GPU is going to match the motherboard. (i dont like that i should have so many RGB programs just to control something)
