Are there some cases for single channel to be better than dual channel on gaming?

Some cases like:

2400 MHz cas 15 dual channel vs 3200 Mhz cas 14 simgle channel

I currently have 16 gigs 2400 dual channel and I can get latency lower to 10 ns instead of 15 at 1.4V, now I don't know if I can get 10 ns instead of 14 ns on the other 3200 Mhz single module that I am planning to buy, should I get the same overclocking result or even lower?

IF yes then, will the 3200 Mhz cl10 do better than dual channel 2400 Mhz cl 10 on intel I9 and what is the case for AMD if I changed my build to AMD ryzen 3000, in that case will the faster memory do better than dual channel?

another matter: let's say I used the 3200 mhz as 2666 mhz, will that grant me better ability to shrink timing far more (8 ns for example)

as far as I know: the lower the memory frequency the better CPU overclocking capability, so will lower timing effect also CPU overclocking?

Outside of some hyper-specialised work loads there are no tangible advantages to single channel over dual with any ram configuration.

These days Intel tends to favour lower latency and AMD tends to favour higher speed.

If you install two different RAM's, the board will work with the lowest ones.

if you have one dual kit 3200Mhz and one dual kit 3000Mhz, the PC will run at 3000Mhz (same for the latency).

Edit: Dual channel is working by far better than a single channel.

So... no advantage for sure to any single channel memory in gaming outside mainstreaming and other work? You mean that even dual channel DDR4 1866 is better than 5000 Mhz single channel at the same timings in term of gaming, you sure about that?

anyway I can't get more than 3600 mhz from any memory but faster memory will give me better ability to lower timing at lower frequency settimgs isn't true?
