Noob question on RAID

i attempt raid 0 my ssd but after i manage to do that i realise all other SATA drive (2TB hdd) and an NVME boot drive is not readable.

 

is that how RAID 0 work? after raid my SATA SSD i can't access other drive anymore? 

 

i thought i can utilise it to expand my 2 sata SSD to become 1 drive and still able to boot from NVME and access my 2TB  back up drive

after we RAID a drive does it make it the must go primary boot drive?

 

reason i ask is because i raid my SATA SSD but my boot is on my M.2 NVME and a 2TB SATA HDD as Backup drive...

 

when i attempt to boot my pc after RAID ti will say no OS.. and not reading my M.2
