iPhone 7 USB problem

So I wanna transfer pictures from my iPhone 7 to my PC (windows 10) but when I try to do that it copy's only about 20 pictures then frezes and than shows that there is no device connected to pc.

 

Any solution? 

 

I have lastest updates to phone and Windows, I have lastest iTunes ( phone stays connected to iTunes after the error)

I transfer my photos via Windows photo app.

download itunes on the computer 

it has worked for me at least

Already have the lastest version of iTunes on PC, do I need to download it to phone too? Doing it for the first time btw(photo transfer form iPhone)

i've got no idea man,in the end i gave the phone to my dad who had used apple products for like 10 years and he used a third party program or sth
