I am wondering why AMD has named Ryzen 7 as 3700X and 3800X while the Ryzen 5 has kept his previous naming story (3600 and 3600X)

however I noticed that the X version has been always an overclocked version of non X one and we may be able to get the X version performance by overclocking the non X one manually, X version has been always the less efficient CPU with higher performance and power usage, while the upcomming 3700X is 65 TDP only just like the older 2700, looks like the new 3800X is the overclocked version of 3700X
