HP Envy 17 3080ez no Windows 10 support,would it work,possible issues?

I want to install Win 10 on this laptop.But on the website there are no drivers for it.
I asked a guy who has similar model,a bit older then mine and here is what he did:
He let Win 10 install,and update it,and the only driver he installed from HP WEbsite is for audio card,which is from IDT and he installed driver for Windows 7.
Why he did it's because subwoofer didn't work with Win 10 drivers,and then he installed Beats Audio app.
I thought about trying the same.
As I've been told all other drivers Win 10 installed by itself.
Second option would be to install Win 8.1 from DVD,since I don't own Windows 8.
But as you can see there are no Win 8.1 drivers,so I wonder would Win 8 drivers work for Windows 8.1?
So what is your recommendation,to take my chances with Windows 10,or go with Windows 8.1?
Just compared to his laptop I swapped HDD with SSD so I assume I need Intel Rapid Storage Driver or not for Win 10?
Will my SSD work in AHCI mode automatically after Win 10 installation.
The laptop has separated USB 3.0 card made by Renesas as you can see in device manager,so that would be an issue too,but I've been told from his if he is not a liar that after update Win 10 installed driver for that card too.
