HELP with Sound Blaster Live!

I've got a old sound blaster Live that came out of some old dell I threw out a while ago and Im tying to use the card in a old pc because I cant find drivers for the onboard sound. But when I install the drivers on windows 95 i can see the sound playing but no audio is coming out. Its a CT4780. And ive tried different drivers and on different computers with different OS's. Can someone please help?

You have to select the audio device in the volume bar, unsure how it is in 95, but click the sound icon, go to playback devices, and click on the soundcard and select it as your default device.

I found the problem the drivers on the creative site were bad so i had to use drivers from windows ME because they work and they were the only other drivers that work with DOS operating systems.
