It did behaved like a cryptominer though.

...no idea how...they got there ?

After many hours of gaming and using the computer i can happily report that it 100% fixed my issue.

Thanks Malwarebytes ?

As the title say...BUT when i play any VR game each and every couple of minutes of play, if i don't physically grab the mouse and click on the game window, my GPU load jump to 99% (from like..40% previously) and the FPS drops to 45FPS with stuttering (from a previously perfectly stable and smooth 90FPS)

As soon as i click on the screen the performance jumps back to normal...

GPU temps and clocks remains the same meaning the GPU is for real doing something or something...

PLZ for the love of god someone help me with this...it's driving me nuts!!!

Thanks! :)

GPU load to 99%? Did you check if the core clock stay the same?

Hmm.. can't really think of anything else other than try if this is replicable with older driver. Maybe it's a proper bug.

Things i tried so far:

- Shutting down every apps that is not needed to have just oculus, steam and the game running...

- Re-installing oculus softwares

- Re-installing steam

- Re-installing nvidia drivers

always the same result :(...

Did it only happened recently btw? How about installing older driver?
Window 10 1903?

I use PSVR + TrinusPSVR + SteamVR and it was fine.

yes it did happened very recently...like a week ago or something...maybe 1 week 1/2...can be windows update...

WHen it started to happen i was on nvidia drivers from 2 versions ago which was working all fine until then, and then i installed version 430.86 with no luck.

How to fix it if it's a windows update issue?

Uhh.. wait for another update and hope that will fix it? lol
You can try report or check in Feedback Hub.

Maybe it's multi-monitor related? Is it possible to disable main monitor while in VR?

Guess what...i think i found the issue...

I realized that my GPU load would randomly go way up even while only watching youtube videos...at that i point i tought about maybe a malware or something.

So i ran Malwarebytes and spybot search and destroy...found multiple malware on the system...cleared everygthing, rebooted and so far it hasn't done it since...

So, fingers crossed, i think it's fine now :)

I'll post again tomorrow when i have more time to do more testing to let you know, but i honestly think i got it :D
