Hi,

with the news of the new google glass I have been wondering, why dont we make smart glasses with Oled screens in the glass itself like we have seen on the ltt video. The Oled screens would be pretty energy efficient, dont have that bulky projector sticking out and you cant see whats happening on the other side. I know that the screens are not fully translucent but from the video i tought it was enough to see trough.

sincerely,
Coolxm

It's different tech.

Google Glass has more in common with a Projection screen than it does a computer screen.

Take note:

"640x360 Optical Display Module"

The screen is supposed to be transparent, that's the purpose of AR.

your eyes would have to focus on the inside of your glasses and what is in front of you at the same time which is not possible. If it where that easy smart glasses would be everywhere.
