RAM problem

Go into the BIOS. Look at the dedicated GPU ram. It's probably allocating 1GB or so for the integrated GPU. You can change it from Auto to whatever you feel fine with not having. Like 128MB.

ok i see you should remove one stick start up the pc see how much it registers, shut down remove memory put in next stick try again. if it registers 2gb each time put both memory sticks see what it picks up it could be its not reading one of the sticks as 2gb.

ok i found the problem it from windows i tried to boot up from linux and all 4 GB was working find so thank you guys

that could be many problems, what motherboard? memory kind? one stick? two? three? four? remove some variables so we can help.

Please Quote so i know you have replied. | If we have provided a solution to your problem mark it with answer found.

And also please read the COC and avoid the embarrassment and lecture that will ensue.

For my pertinent links to guides, reviews, and anything similar, go here, and look under the spoiler labeled such. A brief history of Unix and it's relation to OS X by Builder.
