Rust keeps crashing!

Are you running MSI Aferburner while gaming?  For some reason, it's made my 1080Ti crash in Rust and Ark.  No issues when it's not being utilized.

Hii. ty for answering. I'm on geforce experience and no. I'm not using them to optimize my games but it is downloaded.

What PSU are you using?  

 

Driver version?  I assume most recent?

 

it's very hard to speculate.  Are you getting blue screen?  Just Rust crashing to desktop?  Whole PC turning off?

With performance, yes.  But for the crashing, doubtful.  Faster RAM won't make it more stable.  Plus I think it's a GPU issue, they usually are.

 

I say that because Rust uses the Unreal engine and very similar to Ark... things can just crash.  It may need a new update and change things to more stable.   It's weird.
