Hey guys, another question: How much does it help to have lucid virtu MVP enabled?

I tried it out twice on my MSI mPower with a GTX 670 and i5 3570k and it caused no end of problems. it is now perma disabled.

I may have been doin it wrong, but it seemed like the setup was pretty straight forward and the results were awful.

ex.: In skyrim I walked in to a room and all the trash items lying around would shoot around the floor and bounce off walls. it was bizarre.

It helps for benchmarks and that is about it... no real world performance gain. (if you plug your monitor in your gpu)

It can help to reduce noise (if you plug your monitor on your motherboard it will use the igpu instead of the dgpu)

but that cause a performance loss (10%) and doesn t work when using 2 or more cards.

I have not used this before but I heard that it improves performance in your games and video rendering times.

the virtu mvp help you doing low end process on your igpu intahead of sending them to your gpu

It's shoddy. Lucid Virtu MVP could work, but whatever team they have making drivers consists of a slothful eunuch and a cat.

 

Basically, they've made damn sure their drivers work perfectly in 3DMark 11 and other esoteric benchmarks, and haven't really given a single shit about actual games.

 

The only thing to their credit is that their iGPU video rendering method really does work. I guess all their employees can't be incompetent.

I just got a Z77 motherboard and have been using it. Gives me a ~10-20 FPS boost in Crysis 2, but I turned it off because it was causing random crashes pretty much every game. I say that you should stay away from it.
