Anyone else seeing the new update for the above MOBO and support for new processors?

I think that's for Ryzen 2000 CPUs.

yes it is for the Ryzen 2000 CPU`s prepare for very very slight increase in performance

Indeed that is likely a start for the Ryzen 2 CPUs rumored to launch in July.

Sorry bit lost this is a new and not sure why there would be a patch for 2000 series processors now less than a month before 3000 series? Is this normal practice?

no, "Next-Gen processors" is a clear giveaway its in preparation for the 3000 series CPUs rumored for late June/Early July.

Thought as much, very cool to get a confirmation like this that my board will support 3000 series. I wonder how many did and didn't get an update.

I checked my Crosshair VI Hero and I dont have one yet.

I'm sure it will, very much able to support the 3000 series.

In case anyone is interested i lost my OC on my memory but was able to keep my OC on the CPU, performance is the same better overall though and i have much more stable frame rate in games and benching results are identical.

you were lucky it didnt brick your mobo with OC

better go back to default when updating~~ and theres no easy way to keep those OC settings for newer bios...

Sorry if you misunderstood, my board was reset after the update, i have to reapply my OC, i can no longer get the same OC on my memory. Should have specified that when my BIOS is updated on my board it sets to default values.
