Toshiba Satellite C655-S5128

I have a Toshiba Satellite C655-S5128 laptop that I am trying to repair and upgrade. It needs a screen replacement and I'm wonder if it's possible to go from the stock 1366 resolution to a 1080 resolution screen.

I'm also wonder what my options would be for RAM upgrades and a CPU upgrade if that's even possible.

My last question is with it being an older machine, is it best to leave Windows 7 on it instead of upgrading to 10.

The hard drive is definitely being replaced so no questions there.

Any input on the topic is much appreciated. Thanks for your time.

Upgrading to Windows 10 depends on what CPU your laptop is using. For anything less than an i3, not recommend to upgrade to Windows 10.

Windows 7 is fine with just 4GB of RAM but for Windows 10, I would recommend upgrading to at least 8GB via two 4GB DDR3 SODIMM modules.
