Just got this 980 Amp Extreme shipped to me in the US all the way from Greece. I had actually ordered one like new from the UK and it got lost in shipping...my luck. Anyways, this one is in fine condition other than this bent PCIE bracket. It's in what's probably the best part I could hope for it to be bent at least. I just don't want to mess up such an ultra rare card, and what's quite possibly the best 980 AIB air cooler out there. And yes I did have the HOF version back in 2015. This feels much more solid.

Anyways, do any of you have an idea of what would be the best technique for me to attempt to straighten it out? Need some advice please.

Should be able to bend it back with your hands, if not use a pair of pliers or such to bend it back in to shape.
If you are concerned about damaging the card you can remove the bracket by taking off the cooler and unscrewing the bracket from the PCB, but looking at that shouldn't need to.
Edit: See post below, shouldn't need to remove the cooler to get just the bracket off.

The entire bracket will unscrew from the card, remove the 2 screws from next to the DVI port using needle nose pliers then undo the screw on the other side of the card that's visible in the picture.

Just use a pair of pliers and carefully bend it back. Don’t think any disassembly is needed here (imo)

Ah well guess I'm gonna break out the pliers. Hopefully I can get it to move without feeling like the board or cooler is in danger. I have no worries about disassembling cards usually, but like I said...ultra rare care in the US and went through hell to finally get one of these. Not to mention I greatly overpayed for a 980 (non Ti).
