Dayz Update

Ive played the Dayz Standalone for about 50 hours so far and after the 0.32.114557 patch I haven't been able to find any guns on the map. I have been searching the barns in Novy Sobor (because I found 4 there before the patch) but I haven't found any yet. Does anyone no a good place to find mosins or m4's after the most recent patch?

Uhm civilian spawn weapons are somewhat hard to find because of the HUGE list of stuff that can also spawn from that table. Try going to northwest airfield and look the entirety of it and you will more than likely end up with a m4 with a few aftermarket parts for it and a good amount of ammo. Just make sure you find a server that hasn't been looted out already because that is what kids are doing these days is server hopping and looting and then leaving.

i think they want to "stop" the server hopping, which is stupid cos everything is soo goddam hard to find.

Weapon spawns have been nerfed it seems. I believe it's so people don't server hop. People would sit in the ACT at airfields and hop so they can go down and get loot. I personally thing that when the game becomes more stable (I basically HAVE to server hop if my connection tanks) they should return it to one profile per server. Like in the mod. It makes you more familiar with that community. I liked that system.

 

[EDIT] And was I the only person was severely rolled back? I was rolled back to almost two weeks ago! I've since died and respawned but seriously?

It seems every different server I join, I'm a new spawn again. I don't know whats going on, keep loosing my character and gear constantly. It's put me off DayZ:SA for the time being.

You are probably on a private Hive server.

The standalone just doesn't have anything. I watch scummit play the day z mod and it is insanely easier to find guns in there. Not sure if this is based on server or not though. The SA is so boring right now because it has nothing.
