When booting Windows 10 Pro, occasionally it will take a while for me to able to access the password box. It will show my desktop background but nothing else, and when I swipe up/click/type, it doesn't show the password box. Sometimes it shows it straight away. Either way, it boots to the lock screen background in about 5 seconds, as expected. Any idea what the issue is?

I think it's some program running/loading in the background but I can't figure out what. I've double checked my start-up programs, and these are the only ones active: Microsoft OneDrive, Realtek HD Audio Service, Windows Update, Windows Defender Notification Icon.

My build:

Intel i7-8700 6-core 3.2-4.6ghz processor

MSI z370-a pro motherboard

16gb 3000mhz corsair vengeance RAM

GTX 2060 6gb windforce OC GPU

256gb Samsung NVMe SSD (boot drive)

2tb Toshiba HDD (storage)
