So my friend and I were talking about Raspberry Pi this morning and he said "Yea, I might get a shitload of them and use them for mining". I said no because it would run off of the not so impressive CPU of the Pi. He then showed me this. Would it be worth it to grab maybe one or two of those solely for Bitcoin?

Yes but remember that you will need a bunch of USB miners which aren't cheap.

I was lookin at this one http://www.amazon.com/ASICMiner-Block-Erupter-USB-Sapphire/dp/B00CUJT7TO/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1390484380&sr=8-1&keywords=usb+asic+bitcoin+miner. 4 in the Pi would be about $120 and make about 1.3 GH/s

Unless you have a 200GH/s + system, bitcoin isn't worth mining.

check out this one (might want a small fan to cool it) http://www.amazon.com/BPMC-Blue-2-2-2-7-Bitcoin-Miner/dp/B00GRJUE0Y

I was looking for the Blue Fury earlier but couldn't find it. Cooling wont be an issue, my room runs around 10C most of the time. Would this work with the Pi on some version of Linux?

It would be cheaper and you would be able to use more of them if you just plugged some usb hubs into a system and ran them that way.  Like everyone else is saying, the usb miners aren't profitable any more.

Those, along with most previous generation ASIC's will never see an ROI, let alone a profit. If you're looking into invest without getting a top of the line pre-order miner, you would be better off purchasing and holding the coins.

You keep using that word. I do not think it means what you think it means.
Users cannot, and will not securely manage key material. Most users can't and the ones that can, wont.

Ask me about Bitcoin, Litecoin, Crypto-Currencies, and/or Mining them.
