Help with ARGB led controller

Hi LTT. I have purchased this led strip and was planning to use it with this led / fan controller, which I am going to plug my sahara pirate fans into. However, the LED strip port on the fan controller is 4 pins, and the strip only has 3 pins. Is there a certain cable to connect them both together, or am i better off ordering a different LED strip.

You will need to order a different strip I believe. The non ARGB is 12v while the ARGB is 5v usually. So you will fry the ARGB strip if you try to mod/adapt it.

isn't the controller argb?

4 pin rgb is 12v

3 pin rgb is 5v

Okay, I am not connecting anything to the motherboard, it is all going into that controller, which is molex powered.

What i said applies also to the controller and everything that has to do with computer "'case"

Your 3 pins led strip is 5v (better than 12v cause it is doing effects, rainbow ect...)

You have to buy a 5v controller...

Do not plug it on the one you posted cause the entire strip will die!!!

Thanks. I want a controller that can control both the led strips and 6 pin rgb fans. Is there any that can do this?

The rgb fans that I have are 6 pins, and are compatible with that controller linked in my first post. I am looking to control both my fans and an rgb strip with the same controller.

You can't.

Must buy an independent controller

Then why does the controller have an led header on it?

You can connect led on it but the voltage is different!

what about this, it is a similar fan controller with led strips.

I don't know, in the video the strip is behaving like a 5v strip.........

Whatever you do just be very careful with the volt 5/12v
