Battlefield 4 FPS dips

So its was all good until a day when my game started to dip(from stable 60 fps down to 30-20 fps) in FPS.

I have not changed anything.

Gtx 1070, Ryzen 5 1600, 16 GB ram.

Temps are good. GPU max 68 C and CPU max 64 C

Tried older and newer drivers, same thing.

Tried to install the game on a different SSD, same problem.

The FPS dip is always in the same way, stays for 1 second and goes away. 10-15 minutes between the dips.

Is the game just getting old or what do you think it is?

Try disabling game overlays and see if that helps.

Thank you man, that was it.

 

The GeForce share overlay was the cause for the problem.

Do you know why the overlay causes FPS dips?
