Port Timeout

Hello!

I have encountered a problem that is really annoying. When i try to portforward any type of server it says "Connection timed out" on every port-check. I found a port that was open 27036 and i could open a server on it with no porblems but when it came to link the pc so i could connect to the server from another PC it didnt work, and it says "Connection timed out" when it had no problems connecting before i connected the port to my pc. (English it not my first language so sorry for any bad grammar)

Double Nat? Firewall Rule? Remote server not accepting connections on that port, the list goes on. Can you describe more what service or program you are trying to use and a little more about your network setup.

I used portmapper. My computer is connected to the router with ethernet and the router is a COM HEM WiFi hub c2. If its not something wrong on the routers side, maby its windows that is blocking it?

are you using portmapper when the port is in use? If the port is not currently in use it will not show up, also depending on the application that port might only show as open to that specific service or application. Even a port scanner won't be able to detect if it is open or not.

The port and program/service has to be allowed though windows firewall to be able to accept incoming connections.
