Assasins Creed 1440p optimization?

Chriz6097

Did they even bother optimizing 1440p at all? I recently got myself a 1440p monitor and I cant even get 60FPS on LOW SETTINGS! Whereas on BF4 I can max out the settings and retain a 70FPS average...

My System Specs: (Short list) i7 4770k, GTX 780, many SSD's, a 2 TB HDD(deceased :( ), Corsair 650D. Full list: http://pcpartpicker.com/user/kchriz6097/saved/8dh7YJ

Upgrade Plan: Acquire some Black Noctuas then add 16 or 32GB of 2133MHz memory

I used to be able to get around 60FPS at 1080 max settings but even that was a stretch...

they didn't optimize, Also, has anyone else noticed a lot more tearing in AC4 than in other games? I run tomb raider and bioshock infinite maxed out without tearing, whereas on AC4, i play almost maxed out and tears everywhere

It's not optimised at all my laptop runs BF4 at 40-50FPS Ultra most of the time and Assassins Creed 4 barely gets 25 FPS on low settings

Especially in the Abstergo hallways, its like someone took a paper shredder to the frames

For me, more in cutscenes or synchronizing. I am now stopping to play it until they fix it.

I didn't have the patience and completed the whole game in a week after release; before they considered optimizing it.

Assassin's Creed 4 is incredibility unoptimized at any resolution; and the tearing out of hand. I don't think I ever notice tearing in any games except AS4.
