No mic input

So, I decided to reduce the OC on my Ryzen 5 2600 because temps were a bit high, when I got back in I realised I had no sound, checked audio devices and found no issues so I restarted, upon restart I then had no mic input either. A couple hours of googling and troubleshooting and I finally have audio back, but the problem I have is that my microphone audio is no longer being picked up. I’ve checked my headphones and there’s no issue there and the ports on the front of my pc make no difference. I feel like i have tried everything and I can’t figure out what is going on. Anyone able to help?
