X58 ram detection problem

So i have 3x4gb sticks of ram but the middle (b channel) slot does not detect any memory (the modules are not faulty) i sprayed them out with compressed air and changed my bios back to the defaults and even downclocked them from 1600 to 1066. Hope someone has a helpful answer. (My mobo is a GA-X58-USB3)

Current main PC:

 

CPU: R7 7800x3d (PBO undervolted)

GPU: 7900XT

RAM: 32gb Gskill Ripjaws S5 6000mhz

MOBO: Asus TUF B650e wifi

CASE: Xtia Xproto ATX

 

Server PC:

 

CPU: Xeon X5690

GPU: R9 Fury X

RAM: Assorted 4gb sticks (24gb total)

MOBO: Asus Sabretooth X58

CASE: Alienware Area 51 ALX

check the CPU mounting and the pins, otherwise it's just getting old and starting to fail.

As Jurrunio said it's probably just failing. It's almost 9 years old and has seen a few different PSUs. Maybe one overvolted that DIMM slot. Only way to truly test would be a multimeter or some other device.

Wait are you saying my cooler it too tight?

tight is not a problem, though not tight enough could be as pins could lift off from the contact pads
