What device did your friend click the link on (e.g. iPhone, PC with Windows 10)? And what makes you think that the website will "hack" you?

This is one of those cases when you'll have to use detail and be descriptive, because that's the only way we can help you.

So lets back up here.

First of all, Welcome to the forum, glad you realized the mistake and took the steps you did to try and cut it off, but we need some more info here.

Few questions:

1. What kind of device is this? Desktop, laptop, Android phone, iPhone, Sega Genesis? Operating system is important.

2. Where was the link he clicked? Was this a banner ad on a website? Was this in an email? This can help figure out if it was a targeted link or just spam.

3. What did the link do? Did it open a webpage? Download a file? This can tell us what it does.

4. What did your computer do? Did it seem to slow down or even freeze?

The website doesn't really look suspicious or anything. What makes you think you have a virus?

It honestly doesn't matter what the link is, we're not going onto that website just to check and see if it's shady. You're ignoring everyone's questions, and honestly not giving us any useful information.

Please answer this question: What makes you think you have a virus?

You can look in the browser history of the device to figure out what the link was. :)

If it sent you to a site and the site didn't download anything, you are most likely fine since it was a phone and not a desktop. If you are really unsure, You can download malwarebytes from the app store and do a full scan.
