Need Laptop advice

I have a have Asus laptop that has problems and hoping you can give advise

• the power button flex cable is bad ** my fault just from taking it apart so much  **
• battery life is only 60 min and without GPU is 2.5 hr
• for the second time, the 1 TB hard drive broke 
• I need a long battery life laptops with VGA port / RJ45 port / HDMI port/ min of 3 USB port

SPECS:

MODLE: ASUS x550vx

CPU: i7 6700 HQ

RAM: 8gb ddr4 

Storage: Dead ** had to use the warranty to replace the power module and the crashing hard drive(5200rpm 1Tb) **

GPU : GTX 950m ** i think its dead **

 

option 1: get a new laptop that is just what I need $$$$

option 2: get a Used laptop that is just what I need $$$

option 3: get the flex cable / an SSD / more ram 

 

if any can you recommend any laptops

Option 3

TBH you don't need more ram, just fix the flex cable and slap in an 850 EVO. If you've got the bucks than go for a new battery instead. I use 8GB on my system and, well, it chugs along, especially with an SSD.

true and true, i cant ever remember if the 860 is M.2 tho, or if M.2/M.2+NVMe is worth the money
