Hello People Better Than Me,

I am currently thinking of upgrading from my current system, as it is getting too slow to do pretty much anything. I am on a pretty tight budget at $500 (dollars).

I tried my best to put together a decent list, and below I linked what I came up with.

Could anyone please notify me if there are any noticeable problems or anything I could fix to make this system better?

Thank you in advance for anyone who helps out!

Keep in mind a lot of this is made up of things I already have (marked "Purchased") to make things cheaper.

I plan to do some light gaming (ex. Rocket League), video editing, and maybe some streaming.

So how much do you want to spend on the system? It's hard to tell with the stuff surrounding it

There's plenty of areas you can save money and improve the system

I don't really know what you mean by that, but the "Purchased" parts don't really count towards the $500 I want to spend.

Pretty much anything that I need to buy, because the only reason I'm using the parts that I already have on hand is to keep costs down and put more money towards other (more important) parts.

My goal is to create a basic "starting line", and then be able to add more parts in if the need be so. (For example, 8GB RAM in dual-channel, with 4 DIMM slots, so I can add more if I need to.)

Heres something for around 500, much stronger than you had before
