4k vs 1440p

If i get RTX 2080 should i get 1440 or 2160 monitor?

I just want to play single player games like Shadow of The Tomb Raider, Batman Arkam Knight at the best quality (graphically and smooth). I am fine with 50-60+ fps but i don't like to have somewhere between 30-45.

1440p for gaming.  27" or larger.

^^^ 4K is awesome on a giant screen, for example it looks amazing on my 45" TV. But for a reasonable monitor size, 1440p is gonna be much easier to push for no noticeable drop in quality, you'd probably need to go to at least 32" or larger for 4K to be worth it for gaming.

Visually is there any significantly difference between 4k and 2k (x2 more pixels i know that too)? I don't like anymore my full hd experience even with AA.

I’d say 1440p is better because of the frame rate differential. You’d have to be running a truly monstrous display for the 4K resolution to me a major factor.

If you want more bragging rights and immersion then a ultrawide 3440x1440p.

Unigine Valley at 1440p on a 45" 4K TV:

 

4K is a lot larger, but the added pixel density is wasted in gaming if you're not on a screen this massive. Anything below 32" and there's not really a point to 4K for gaming, only for text heavy applications or editing and such.
