I have a colleague who wants to format 2 gaming systems.
they are prebuilt with ordinary hardware and no bloatware
The license key for each system is present on the machine on the original sticker

he wants to sell the systems

can i use a win10 usbkey to reformat them, then just use the win10 key that is on the sticker to reactivate it?

is it possible that the microsoft account can create problems if a new account is used on the system afterwards?

I believe if you log into a microsoft account on activated windows, If you log in on un-activated, it may activate it. do your research (and check linus's videos where they use pirated windows)

Not sure about you but I think my 7 year old CPU still rips

The key is linked to a Digital lisence connected to the connected Microsoft Account. The sticker is of little use to you if it is an OEM key. However, you don't need it. Just go to Settings > Update & Security > Recovery. Select the "Reset this PC" option. Hit Remove everything, then make sure to hit change settings on the next screen. Make sure secure data erase is on. Then proceed as normal. It will take a while. This will get rid of everything for you, while ensuring your data is secure.

I can't help if you don't quote me. How am I supposed to know if you need my premium support? Now starting at £399.99 a year.

It definitely works if you use the same Microsoft account pre and after resetting. Not doing that can result in you losing your key (in my experience anyway)
