Hi everyone!

I'm starting to save up to build a PC and these are the specs I've got atm:

CPU: Ryzen 7 1700

Heatsink: Stock

Mobo: Asus Prime B450

RAM: Corsair 16GB Vengeance RGB (fir extruh frems)

Boot drive: Samsung 970 Evo 250gb

Storage: 1tb Seagate

PSU: EVGA 500W 80+ bronze

Case: Corsair 275R w/ temp glass.

GPU: already got one, it's an R9 270 I think (I will probably upgrade it soon, hence the slight overkill other parts)

Any suggestions to this would be greatly appreciated. Thanks! ?

1. weak power delivery on the board, holding upgrades will be hard. I'd at least go for the MSI B450 ones, except the Pro-M2

2. Make sure memory is at least 2933MHz rated, otherwise it's more show than go

3. NVMe SSDs are overrated, larger capacity SATA drives are better

4. For PSU, check

5. More case fans to help airflow

It's a joke about RGB... Also good efficiency rating can contribute to a better quality PSU. Try helping people instead of being condescending.

I still don't understand.

I don't see how asking for an explanation of a term that Goole produced exactly one hit on, your post, is condescending.

80+ ratings certify electrical efficiency. Not quality.
