MBA 13" 2017 SSD

Hey guys

so my SO has a macbook air 2017 that has a water damaged SSD

the apple store confirmed it was just the SSD that was damaged but wanted $520 to replace a 128gb drive

obviously thats ridiculous so i was wondering if anyone has a recommendation for what brand would be the best to replace it with

I usually go with samsung but some websites have been saying they have issues

any other insight is appreciated

You can't just pop in any SSD because the storage is soldered (iirc).
