Does anyone know if a bsod can be caused by Cpu bottlenecking the gpu? I'm getting bcc code 116 bsod in Cpu intensive games.

CPU: I7 3770k @4.8 ghz | GPU: GTX 1080 FE SLI | RAM: 16gb (2x8gb) gskill sniper 1866mhz | Mobo: Asus P8Z77-V LK | PSU: Rosewill Hive 1000W | Case: Corsair 750D | Cooler:Corsair H110| Boot: 2X Kingston v300 120GB RAID 0 | Storage: 1 WD 1tb green | 2 3TB seagate Barracuda|

never heard of it, are you referring to the rig in your sig? no bottleneck there

Yes, do you know if this could be caused by memory? I've already ruled out temps, and the cards being bad

what are your temps?

Windows 8.1 ? I've had BSODs a lot after upgrading to 8.1 and none since reverting to 8.

what are your temps?

65 degrees on the hottest card under load, and 40 on the Cpu under load, I upgraded to an h100i a while back, so the Cpu temps won't be an issue.
