I haven't done a build in 5 years. Am I wasting or does this look solid. If you have a better build for 4k, I'd love the advice

It's not a 4K monitor.  It's a 2K monitor, known as 1440p. A 4K monitor is 2160p.

 

In all seriousness, do you know what you want or did you see "4K Gaming" somewhere and want it cuz it's the best?

 

Really, 1440p is the goods.  4K is just too expensive and I can't see spending that much without a clue as to why.

Yes. You don't need 1600w and that RMi is a great PSU.

bro, i'm about saving money. i have a budget - i'm good with bowing to your knowledge and saving me money. I'm limited to reviews and youtube.

Okay, then I recommend making a new post in the New Builds and Planning section listing:

 

1.  Budget

2.  What you want to do with the PC (game, edit video, stream, etc)

3.  Any items you have to bring over from current PC (hard drives, PSU, speakers, keyboard, mouse, etc)

4.  Resolution desired (1080p high refresh eSports Competitor, 1440p looks good feels good, or 4k spend all my money)

5.  Any other needs like massive movie collection, or small desk, or tiny hands, or anything that effects items suggested for you.

 

The more information you can provide, the better the suggestions will be for you.
