Yeah... not sure what to name the topic. Sorry in advance.

Anyways, I need some help getting the optimum cooling efficiency for my case. I'll post a video below showing my case, and where all of my intake, and exhaust fans are. I have 4 intake and 2 exhaust. 4 40mm fans for my intake, 1 40mm fan for my exhaust next to my graphics card. and the final exhaust is my PSU.

I have a REALLY old case from 2003, and I cannot afford a new one for quite some time.

SPECS:

AMD FX 4100 @4.5GHz STOCK COOLER (running pretty cool)

16GB DDR3 Corsair Vengeance 1600MHz Memory

Sapphire Vapor-X ATI 5770 OC @910Mhz, and memory @ 1335

Gigabyte GA-990FXA-UD3 Mobo

1 80GB SATA HDD OS Drive

1 250GB SATA HDD Storage Drive

Windows 8 Pro x64

Alright, here is the video.

You could go for something like this: http://www.mountainmods.com/mountain-mods-acrylic-triple-bay-120mm-fan-mount-p-405.html

Do you think your temps would be improved by working on your fan config right now? If you're really willing to spend the time, all I can think of without seeing your rig would be to mod in some 120mm fans.

Still uploading. Just waiting on the video to load. Only real issues I'm having. Is that my videocard keeps on overheating. I've seen people OC the same card farther than I have, and get better temps. I can play BF3 max settings at 1600x900. Just the temps got as high as 83C. Trying to find out what the issue is. My CPU is fine cooling wise. It's just where my GPU is that I'm having issues with as far as cooling goes.

Clean your card. The dust causes things to heat and such.

Point the fan on the side panel in toward the GPU. It will help bring in fresh air for the GPU.

Also take out the GPU and use compressed air to clean it out. If temps still don't get better, you can replace the thermal paste.

And download MSI Afterburner and set a custom fan profile so you can keep the GPU cooler.

Hope this helps!

to be honest.. you'll spend $40 or more in fans or other upgrades,

it'd be a fairer summation to inquire about a better case (which may

have fans) for $60-$80 like the CM690II or Fractal R4 or even the

200R. the older cases were just feeling their oats for elegance more

than performance flow. short of waffling the chassis with more fan

ports, look to another case for ease of enjoyment.
