Hello all,

so I want a Console Gaming TV and these are my specifications:

Location: EU Schengen

Viewing Distance from TV: 240 - 250 cm from TV

Budget: 600 Euro

Consoles: PS4 Pro and XBox One X

I know with my budget I probably would not get the ultimate experience, but what TV would be best with this budget that would also let me see some Netflix and YouTube?

Thanks ?

Do you care about 4K (though I think it's harder to find a new TV that isn't 4K these days), HDR, or any other features that are buzzwords these days?

Hi Mira, thanks for your reply. 4K, I do not care. HDR to me it literally translates to better colors, so I do care about it, if it is not the case please correct me.

I also read about some HDMI version with PS4 that supports better data flow (I am not sure if I am explaining this correctly) - so maybe that is in consideration.

Thanks :)

Yes and no. The idea of HDR is to improve the contrast of the image without ruining it with say overblown colors. At the end of the day however, the panel quality is what matters over whether or not the content is HDR. There are some monitors with okay image quality but support HDR format video like https://www.rtings.com/tv/reviews/tcl/4-series-s425-s-series-s405-4k

OKay, so what would your suggestion be? TCL with HDR or maybe LG or Samsung without HDR?

My go-to when scouting for displays is LG or Samsung. I don't know if they're available in your country but Vizio is a popular value brand in the US. Sony's a maybe, because you're paying the Sony tax. I haven't given TCL much thought.

Please make and LG or Samsung suggestion. I am pretty sure they are available.
