Ryzen 5 2400g

I'm currently saving up for a much needed upgrade for my pc because nvenc on low bitrates sometimes look off because my i5 3570 can't handle x264 while gaming. Im looking at upgrading to the ryzen 5 2400g and my question is, is it a viable upgrade considering i want to stream (with x264 encoder on obs) and game on it? I stream on twitch with 2500 bitrate. Games i mostly play are monster hunter world, apex legends, and some older games. Any input will be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

nope, your best bet is still a capture card on the 3570 system and let that handle the encoding while 2400G runs your games

 

or just get a ryzen 6 core / 1st gen 8 core

I would take a R5 2600 instead or a Ryzen 7 since they're far better at handling x264.

So ryzen 7 would be the best bet?

 

If i would go intel, would an i5 8500 or it 8400 be good enough to game at 1080p60 while streaming 720p30 on 2500 kbps?

intel stuff will be on the limit. Any demanding game will make that impossible without stutters.
