I have a problem with my internet I have the new Xfinity modem/router but I put it in bridge mode to work with a

Linksys
Model:	WRT1200AC

  router. on my router, the bar that is usually solid white is a solid orange i have called  Xfinity said everything is working on their side

My issue is I can search the web and everything else but when I do steam or talk on discord or do any kind of speed tests it won't connect. I am using ethernet but when I switch over to wireless it doesn't connect at all

You shouldn't have to do anything with Xfinity box, I'd put it back to the default setting. Bridge mode may be limiting what types of connections are getting through. 

Also consider resetting your WRT1200AC and setting it up again to clear out any reservations from the previous modem router that was attached to it.

Id say its an issue with your Linksys router. Id do a factory reset on the router and set everything again. Also look at upgrading the firmware to make sure you have the latest software. Here is the deal, Xfinity will not help you with customer own equipment. I own my own modem and router and they will blame any issue on my equipment.
