Help with APU Black screening

Hey guys!

 

So, for Christmas i have built a computer for my father with the following specs:

 

Cpu: AMD A10 5800k

Ram: Gskill 1866Mhz 8gb Sniper (2x4Gb)

Motherboard: MSI A75MA E35

 

The case and the power supply(500W) i've used one that was laying around.

 

Now to the problem, from time to time the image disappears and the screen goes black just for a second, but sound keeps working, and then appears again.

 

I have checked drivers and they're up to date.

 

Can i make something else so that i can figure what the problem is?

It could be the monitor, loose hdmi cable etc.

Toxic could be right, but also do you have the chipset drivers installed? You say drivers, but what drivers are you referring to?
