I was looking at the Kingston A400 SSD. Is it any good?

Yep.  Decent drive.

Never used one, but I hear they're ok.

 

Of drives I've used, the Inland Professional 120GB (also $20) is pretty good. But it shouldn't matter too much, both will be decent.

However, if you care about write endurance, the Inland looks to be 75TBW vs the Kingston's 40TBW.

For durability look for WD SSDs preferably WD Blue...
But KINGSTON's is fine in every other way.

That's not much of a clarification Some folks have 10TGB's of Steam library

Sorry I meant 10TB, not GB.  I'm at 900GB myself.

I've only got 72 thru Steam.  Obviously not all are installed, but the ones I flip around on.
