Windows 7 start menu

So guys i really need help.

I just turned on my laptop and win7 booted to start menu, i entered my password and the welcome screen shows but the loading icon just keeps spinning.

I restarted multiple times and i am now using in while in safe mode with network on.

I need a quick fix pls

Best is to re-install Windows and update your system.

You are not a full reinstall yet.

if you have a second account try that. it may just be a corrupt profile.  If not boot into safe (F8 on boot) log in as administrator and create one.

Then long into that account and see if windows will load to the desktop

I found out the reason for it not working was because my laptop switched off whilst doing a windows update so i had to restore it twice then restart and let it update 

but thanks anyways
