Depends on your budget.

Edit: To expand on it, Ryzen 5's are fairly capable, so what GPU you should get depends on how much you want to spend on it.

Around 120-150 dollars I'd get an RX570

180-200 I'd get a RX580 or 1060 6Gb

aroudn 280-300 a 1660Ti or Vega 56

and I'd probably go max a 2060

Specs: CPU: AMD Ryzen R7 3700X @4.4Ghz, GPU: Gigabyte RX 5700 XT, RAM: 32 GB (2x 8GB Trident Z Royal + 2x 8GB TForce Vulkan Z) @3000Mhz, Motherboard: ASRock B550m Steel Legend, Storage: 1x WD Black 1Tb NVMe (boot) + 1x Samsung 860 QVO 1Tb SSD (storage), Case: Thermaltake Core V21, Cooler: Noctua NH-D15

Well it'd help to know your budget and what settings and resolution you play at

Considering you want to plan for the future and have a budget of 1500, I'd get an RTX2070. It'll be overkill for 1080p 60 and your CPU will bottleneck it at first, but you could upgrade your CPU later once zen 2 is here and it should be good at 1440p. (all my not-an-expert opinion)
